ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Design Academy Series is a custom educational program developed for a client in the healthcare sector. It consists of 6 progressive modules designed to give participants a strong foundation in UX and product design while directly addressing their real-world challenges.

The program blends practical theory, team-based reviews, and hands-on coaching with insights from over 15 years of experience in UX, interaction, and product design.

Client: Healthcare organization
Format: 6 learning modules + team reviews
Services: Program Design, Mentorship, UX Education

Challenge

Healthcare teams face unique product design challenges:

Complex workflows and regulations
Diverse user needs (patients, caregivers, medical staff)
Limited exposure to UX best practices
The client wanted to upskill their internal teams, helping them make better design decisions, run effective usability tests, and create more intuitive healthcare products.

The Approach

I built the Design Academy Series around three core principles:

Progressive Learning
Six modules that build on one another, from fundamentals to advanced practices.

Collaborative Reviews
Regular sessions where participants brought current project challenges, reviewed them with peers, and co-created solutions.

Applied Expertise
Real tips, methods, and case insights from 15+ years in UX, interaction, and product design.
